CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, connected the Abu Musabbih well to the Deir al-Balah distribution network, serving about 25,000 people.
As part of strengthening water supplies in Deir al-Balah, particularly after the eastern water wells went out of service as a result of Israeli military operations, and the cutoff of Mekorot water since last January, CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Deir al-Balah Municipality, connected a new water well, the Abu Musabbih well, to the water distribution network in Deir al-Balah city, central Gaza Strip, where this well serves about 25,000 residents of the Abu Samra junction, Akila, Hammada, the area around the college, and Al-Bassa areas.
