CMWU, in cooperation with the Palestinian Water Authority and funded by the "British organization Human Appeal", supplied all water wells and sources in the Gaza Strip with sodium hypochlorite, aiming to chlorinate and disinfect drinking water to protect it from contamination during transport and distribution in the networks spread across all cities of the Gaza Strip.
It is worth noting that CMWU periodically disinfects all water and sanitation facilities in the Gaza Strip, funded by numerous international and relief organizations working in the water sector, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic, in addition to supplying workers in water and sanitation services at CMWU and the municipalities of the Gaza Strip with protective clothing against the coronavirus.
