CMWU Begins Implementing a Project to Rehabilitate and Develop the Sewage Treatment Plant in Rafah Governorate

CMWU, funded by the Center for Disaster Philanthropy "CDP" through "Oxfam", began implementing a project to rehabilitate the sewage treatment plant in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, aiming to raise its efficiency to receive the quantities of sewage water arriving at the plant, particularly after connecting Rafah's quarantine centers to the sewage network on one hand, and the increased consumption of water by residents for disinfection and prevention purposes on the other, as this plant serves all residents of Rafah governorate and receives about 15 thousand cubic meters of sewage water daily.
