The agreement was signed by Dr. Majed Awni Abu Ramadan, Chairman of CMWU's Board of Directors, and Eng. Monther Issa Shoblaq, the Utility's Director-General, while the agreement was signed on behalf of the Palestinian Pension Agency by Dr. Majed Atta Al-Helou, Chairman of the Agency, and Dr. Ahmed Majdalani, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Palestinian Pension Agency in Gaza, in the presence of Mr. Mamdouh Al-Ghazali, Deputy Director-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs at CMWU, and Mr. Mohammed Salama Mheisen, Director-General of Subscriber Services at the Palestinian Pension Agency, and Mr. Amjad Rabah Al-Shawa, Subscriber Services Officer at the Agency.

CMWU had made diligent and continuous efforts to join the Palestinian Pension Agency, and these efforts were crowned with the signing of the accession agreement, as the agreement guarantees the employee and their family benefit in cases of death and medical disability, or after the end of the service period, through obtaining a pension salary that achieves financial security and a decent life for them and their dependents.
