CMWU Continues Supplying Residents and Returning Displaced Persons with Drinking Water
CMWU continues its efforts to supply residents with drinking water in the central and southern areas of the Strip, alongside securing water supplies for displaced persons returning to the north of the Gaza Strip, particularly on Al-Rasheed Street, where residents walk long distances in both directions along this road.
Water tankers of various capacities affiliated with the water utility are moved to the target areas, in order to ease residents' suffering.
This comes amid the difficult conditions facing the Strip, as a result of the continuing Israeli war, which has caused widespread damage to infrastructure, including water and sanitation networks. The Utility is making ongoing efforts to ensure water reaches residents, despite the field challenges.
The Utility affirmed that it continues to work on improving water services, and finding solutions to provide water to all citizens, particularly in areas that witnessed widespread destruction during the Israeli war.
