CMWU Continues Implementing the Development and Rehabilitation Project for the Main "Al-Bassa" Sewage Pumping Station in Deir al-Balah City

CMWU continues implementing the works of the development and rehabilitation project for the main "Al-Bassa" sewage pumping station in Deir al-Balah city, in the middle of the Gaza Strip, funded by UNICEF and in cooperation with Deir al-Balah Municipality, with the Al-Bassa pumping station considered the central sewage pumping station in Deir al-Balah city, serving about 90,000 residents.

It is worth noting that this project aims to raise the efficiency of the "Al-Bassa" sewage pumping station and strengthen its readiness to work and protect its pumps from sediment and dust, especially during peak hours and the winter season, to prevent the formation of health hazards and sewage water overflow at the site and towards the sea.
