CMWU Continues Implementing the Main Sanitation Line Construction Project in Al-Bureij, Central Gaza Strip
Gaza – CMWU
CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Bureij Municipality, continues implementing the works of the project to construct a gravity sanitation line, to eliminate the old sewage pump in Block 7 area of Al-Bureij, central Gaza Strip, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
This project aims to eliminate the pumping station and reduce the operating and maintenance costs of the sanitation system, by constructing a main gravity sanitation line 1,350 meters long and 355mm in diameter, from the sewage station site in Block (7), passing through Wadi Ghalba and Street 70, reaching the existing sanitation network.
It is worth noting that this project will open the way to serving a larger number of residents, since this line passes through areas not connected to the sanitation network, making it possible to connect them to the sanitation network.
