CMWU Continues Its Efforts to Ensure Water Quality by Monitoring Chlorination and Disinfection Systems
The operation, maintenance, and laboratory teams at CMWU continue carrying out intensive field rounds to inspect, calibrate, and adjust chlorination and disinfection systems at the various water production wells on a regular basis, aiming to ensure the quality of the water produced that is distributed to residents and displaced persons in the various areas of the Gaza Strip.
These efforts include close monitoring of all production facilities, contributing to maintaining quality standards and health safety of the water. This comes as part of the Utility's permanent commitment to protecting public health and providing safe, sustainable water services.
It is worth noting that the water utility, with support from UNICEF, is working to supply the water production facilities, from wells, desalination plants, and pumping stations, with the necessary chlorine solution, strengthening the efficiency of injection and disinfection systems at the various water facilities.
