As part of CMWU's keenness to improve the water supply to residents, CMWU, at its regional headquarters in Rafah, continues combating illegal encroachments in some areas of Rafah governorate, as those encroachments cause instability in the water supply to residents in those areas, with these encroachments being used to irrigate agricultural land, which affects the residents' daily water share, and CMWU also appeals to residents not to encroach on water networks, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic and residents' pressing need for water under the instructions to stay at home, and in order to improve the quality of household water supply.
