CMWU continues implementing the works of the old sewage network replacement project in the Al-Manshiya area in Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, in partnership with Action Against Hunger and funded by the European Union - Humanitarian Aid (ECHO) - and in cooperation with Beit Lahia Municipality. Through the project, the old network will be replaced with another new one, 850 meters long, with the aim of ending residents' suffering due to sewage water overflow and the resulting spread of health and environmental hazards, resulting from the damage to the old sewage network.
