
CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, continues repairing damaged water lines at several sites in Gaza City, including Abu Huseira, Al-Abbas junction, and Tal al-Hawa.
CMWU Continues Water Network Repairs in Various Areas of Gaza City
CMWU, in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and in cooperation with Gaza Municipality, continues to carry out a series of urgent maintenance works on water lines across several areas of Gaza City. These efforts come as part of the ongoing work to restore water services and improve access for residents.
The works included repairing a water line on Abu Hasira Street, in addition to repairing another line at Al-Abbas Junction and a further line north of the junction. Maintenance also covered repairs to the water network at the beginning of Abu Shabbak Street, as well as a water line adjacent to Barcelona Park opposite the Ministry of Social Development.
In Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, CMWU teams repaired a water line on Mazen Foqaha Street, along with another repair behind Eslim Station, contributing to stabilizing water supply and improving service for residents.
CMWU reaffirmed the continued efforts of its teams and partners to implement the necessary interventions to restore damaged water networks and improve water supply levels to the minimum acceptable level across different areas of Gaza City.
