CMWU Continues Emergency Maintenance of Water Facilities in the Gaza Strip
CMWU, in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross and in cooperation with the Gaza Strip's municipalities, continues carrying out emergency maintenance works on water facilities in various areas of the Strip, out of concern to ensure the continuity of essential services for citizens and displaced persons.
In this context, the Utility carried out comprehensive maintenance works on the Al-Intisar water well in Nuseirat camp, central Strip, contributing to restoring the well's operation and improving water service for residents of the target areas.
In the same context, the Utility is currently maintaining both the Sheikh Radwan (10) well and the Sheikh Radwan (7) well in Gaza City, in addition to carrying out maintenance works on a number of other wells according to technical and humanitarian priority needs.
These efforts come amid the difficult conditions facing the Strip's municipalities and the acute shortage of resources, aiming to ensure the continued operation of vital water facilities, and strengthen the water service provided to residents amid current conditions.
