Since the start of the war, CMWU has coordinated with UNICEF, the Red Cross, and UNRWA to secure fuel for water facilities.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, CMWU has been in contact with its partners among international and humanitarian organizations, foremost among them UNICEF, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and UNRWA, in order to secure the fuel needed to operate water facilities and seawater desalination plants to supply residents with water, as well as to transport drinking water to shelter centers, particularly amid the Israeli occupation's cutting of electricity and water supplies to the Gaza Strip and its prevention of the entry of fuel needed to operate backup electric generators for water and sanitation facilities.
CMWU will continue to do its utmost to ensure the continuation of providing a minimum level of services amid these difficult conditions our people in the Gaza Strip are experiencing.
