CMWU, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality, completed a Mekorot water connection between Bani Suheila and Khan Younis (100 m3/hour).
Today, CMWU's mobile maintenance team, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality and in coordination with the Palestinian Water Authority, succeeded in completing the connection between Bani Suheila and Khan Younis municipalities, aiming to deliver a quantity of Mekorot water arriving via the Mekorot line east of Khan Younis governorate (about 100 m3/hour), to supply residents of the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Younis city, particularly amid the displacement of large numbers of residents from east Khan Younis, Gaza city, and North Gaza to Khan Younis city, and given the limited water sources in Khan Younis.
