CMWU Implements a First Aid Course in Cooperation with the Ministry of Health

CMWU, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Human Development at the Ministry of Health, implemented a first aid course titled "The Human Being Is Our Most Precious Asset, and Preserving Human Life Is One of the Objectives of Islamic Law," at 15 training hours, with the course including employees from the main headquarters, branch offices, and municipalities, with 30 male and female trainees from various administrative and technical levels enrolled, headed by Eng. Monther Shoblaq, CMWU's Director-General, with Eng. Ashraf Ghanem, Director of the Occupational Safety and Security Department at the Utility, preparing and coordinating the course.
The course included several topics, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, dealing with fractures and burns, dealing with people experiencing high blood pressure or high and low blood sugar, fainting, heatstroke, and work accidents, with the trainees also participating in a practical application of the above.
Eng. Monther Shoblaq, the Utility's Director-General, affirmed the importance of the course and the necessity of continuing to organize more of them to include all employees, with the aim of advancing the Utility's human resources, and also praised, in his capacity as a trainee, the topics covered in the course and thanked those organizing it.
The training course concluded with the distribution of certificates to all trainees and first aid kits containing all first aid supplies, and shields were also exchanged between CMWU and the Ministry of Health.
