CMWU Distributes Sodium Hypochlorite for Chlorinating Drinking Water to All the Gaza Strip's Water Wells
Gaza / CMWU
Funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, CMWU began this morning supplying all water wells spread across the cities of the Gaza Strip with chlorine, aiming to protect drinking water from contamination during transport and distribution across the networks spread throughout all cities of the Gaza Strip.
It is also worth noting that CMWU periodically disinfects all water and sanitation facilities in the Gaza Strip, funded by numerous international and relief institutions working in the water sector, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, in addition to supplying workers in water and sanitation services at CMWU and the Gaza Strip's municipalities with protective clothing against the coronavirus, as part of CMWU's efforts and its contribution to preventing the coronavirus, in line with the instructions and guidance issued by the World Health Organization, the Ministry of Health, and the Water Authority.
