Daily field tours to follow up on sewage pumping stations in Rafah (Al-Jineina, Block O, Jamizat Al-Sabeel, Tal Al-Sultan, and UNDP), which together serve about 365,000 people.
A glimpse of the daily field tours carried out by CMWU's crews at its regional headquarters in Rafah, aiming to inspect all water and sanitation facilities in the governorate and how work is proceeding at them, in addition to monitoring the operating system at those facilities to detect emergency problems and address them quickly if they exist.
The tour included a visit to the sewage pumping station in Al-Jineina neighborhood, which pumps about 8,500 cubic meters daily and serves about 160,000 people, in addition to Block "O" pumping station, which pumps about 100 cubic meters daily and serves about 4,000 people, Jamizat Al-Sabeel station, which pumps about 13,250 cubic meters daily and serves 150,000 people, Tal Al-Sultan station, which pumps about 5,000 cubic meters daily and serves about 50,000 people, and UNDP station, which serves 700 people and pumps about 80 cubic meters daily.
