CMWU Carries Out Maintenance on a Water Well in Khan Younis

Gaza / CMWU

As part of the works of the "Water and Sanitation Vehicles and Facilities Maintenance Project" funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, CMWU carried out maintenance works on "Breika" well in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, aiming to improve and increase the quantities of water produced from the well, which is pumped into the water networks feeding residents' homes, as this well is considered an important water source in that area, particularly in the summer season when residents' water consumption increases.

It is worth noting that CMWU had, during the past few weeks, carried out various maintenance works affecting numerous water wells located in all governorates of the Strip, in addition to carrying out maintenance works on a number of water and sanitation vehicles affiliated with various municipalities, which leads to the continuity of providing services to residents, particularly in emergency situations.
