In continuation of its efforts to prepare sewage vehicles and facilities for the winter season and its maintenance and operation interventions, CMWU launched a new phase of the "Water and Sanitation Vehicles and Facilities Maintenance Project" funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.

CMWU carried out maintenance operations on a number of vehicles in various areas of the Gaza Strip, with this project aiming to enable CMWU and the municipalities to improve the services provided to residents by improving the efficiency of these vehicles and facilities, amid the continuing Israeli restrictions imposed on bringing water and sanitation vehicles into the Gaza Strip.

This project comes in the context of a series of projects that CMWU supervised the implementation of, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, targeting the maintenance of water and sanitation vehicles and providing everything that improves water and sanitation services, which leads to the continuity of providing services to residents, particularly during the winter season and emergency situations.
