CMWU Rehabilitates "Al-Matar" Water Well in Rafah

As part of the "Emergency Maintenance of Water and Sanitation Facilities" project funded by the Office of the UN Special Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) through the Developmental Action Ma'an Center, CMWU rehabilitated "Al-Matar" water well in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, with the process including maintaining the well's pumping system and replacing its damaged parts, aiming to raise its efficiency, which leads to improving the water services provided to residents, as this well serves residents in Al-Shawka area in Rafah, numbering about 17,000 people.
