CMWU solved the water shortage problem in Al-Farahin neighborhood in Abasan Al-Kabira by dedicating a direct water line and installing a pump with a capacity of 50 cubic meters per hour.

CMWU Manages to Solve the Water Problem in Al-Farahin Neighborhood in Abasan Al-Kabira

CMWU, through the dedicated efforts of the Technical Department and in cooperation with Abasan Municipality, managed to solve the water shortage problem in Al-Farahin neighborhood in Abasan Al-Kabira city, where the area's residents used to suffer from weak, and sometimes non-existent, arrival of the Municipality's water through the main network to the neighborhood, due to encroachment on the water lines and the exploitation of drinking water for agricultural purposes by some residents.

CMWU responded to the appeal of the Mayor of Abasan Al-Kabira to intervene and solve this problem, after continuous complaints and appeals submitted by residents of Al-Farahin neighborhood to Abasan Municipality, whereupon work was done to dedicate a direct water line to Al-Farahin neighborhood by separating the line connecting to the neighborhood from the other lines in the main network, and installing a pump on the reservoir with a pumping capacity of 50 cubic meters/hour to feed the line dedicated to the neighborhood, which led to ensuring water reaches the neighborhood at an appropriate pumping rate that meets residents' needs for drinking and household use purposes, and ending the water crisis they had been suffering from for some time.

It is noted that CMWU was able to find a solution to the water problem in Al-Farahin neighborhood using its own capabilities, without waiting or resorting to accredited external parties, relying on its available technical cadres and equipment to intervene in times of crises and emergency problems, affirming the necessity of continued support for CMWU with equipment and devices that enable it to intervene to solve emergency problems without delay, which affect residents' ability to obtain drinking water and water for household use, which has a profound impact on public health.
