CMWU Fulfills an Outstanding Girl's Dream by Appointing Her Director-General of the Utility..
Gaza - As part of its continuous effort to communicate with society across all its groups and segments, CMWU fulfilled the wish dreamed of by outstanding girl Shahd Abu Reida from Khuza'a Girls' Basic School in Khan Younis governorate, south of the Gaza Strip, who is 10 years old, with the girl's dream being to become Director-General of CMWU, believing in the Utility's great role and given the great importance of water as it is the secret of life and existence on this earth.
CMWU was able to fulfill this wish for little Shahd by appointing her Director-General of CMWU for one day, with her received by the Utility's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq, who welcomed the girl and briefed her on the Utility's role in providing water and sanitation services to residents in the Gaza Strip's governorates, explaining to her the most prominent of the Utility's projects and achievements.
Eng. Monther Shoblaq also accompanied the girl on a tour inside the Utility's main headquarters in Al-Zahra city, introducing her to the nature of the work, and to the employees inside the Utility's headquarters.
Eng. Shoblaq thanked Khuza'a school and the British Center for adopting such campaigns, which would strengthen leadership values in the hearts of children, who represent the generation of the desired renaissance and development for the homeland.
Little Shahd also expressed her deep thanks to CMWU for providing this opportunity and fulfilling her dream of being Director-General of the Utility for one day, expressing her overwhelming happiness at being able to closely learn about the details and work environment inside CMWU.
