CMWU Carries Out Emergency Interventions to Maintain Water Networks in Several Areas of Gaza City
CMWU, with support from UNICEF and in cooperation with Gaza Municipality, carried out a series of field interventions to maintain water networks in a number of areas of Gaza City, as part of efforts aimed at improving domestic water supply for residents and displaced persons. The interventions covered the following areas:
- Al-Nafaq Street area, next to Al-Usra Pharmacy
- Jaffa Street, next to Al-Mahatta Mosque
- Around Al-Sharafa Roundabout
- Around Abu Alaba Roundabout, Al-Nasr neighborhood
- Abdullah Azzam Mosque area, Al-Sabra
- Al-Shati camp, next to Shuhaiber School
- Al-Nasr neighborhood, north of the Italian complex
- Souq Al-Sahaba area
- East of Al-Sarookh Roundabout
- North of Sheikh Radwan pond
These works are part of CMWU's and its partners' plan to rehabilitate the water networks damaged by recent events, and improve domestic water access for thousands of residents and displaced persons in various areas of the city.
