CMWU Carries Out Maintenance on a Number of Sewage Pumping Stations in Central and South Gaza Strip

Maintenance of several sewage pumping stations in central and south Gaza Strip (Al-Zahra, UNDP, Jamizat Al-Sabeel, Nuseirat, Al-Maghraqa, Bani Suheila, Jabalia, Deir al-Balah, and Beit Lahia), in preparation for the winter season.

CMWU Carries Out Maintenance on a Number of Sewage Pumping Stations in Central and South Gaza Strip

As part of its early preparations for the winter season, CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Zahra Municipality, carried out maintenance works on two sewage pumping stations in Al-Zahra city, central Gaza Strip.

In addition, CMWU carried out emergency maintenance on the UNDP pumping station and Jamizat Al-Sabeel sewage pumping station in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, aiming to raise the pumps' efficiency to ensure the continuity of their operation in service of the residents of the targeted area, in addition to preparing them to receive the winter season.

It is worth noting that CMWU had, during the past few weeks, carried out maintenance works affecting numerous sewage pumping stations located in all governorates of the Gaza Strip, with CMWU's crews carrying out multiple maintenance works at the Central Nuseirat pumping station and Al-Maghraqa station, in addition to Tal Al-Sultan and Al-Mujadala stations south of the Gaza Strip, in addition to the Central sewage pumping station in Bani Suheila area, and also "Abu Sorour" sub-station in the same area, and Hawaber and Tal Al-Za'tar stations in Jabalia, Al-Basa station in Deir al-Balah, and Dawwas and Al-Ren in Beit Lahia.
