CMWU, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality, and funded by the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), began carrying out maintenance and repair works on sanitation lines in various areas of Khan Younis city, after these networks sustained severe damage as a result of Israeli bombardment.

The maintenance works began today in the Al-Buraq area, and include replacing and repairing damaged pipes, strengthening the network's capacity, and removing the health hazards spread within the neighborhood.

These efforts are part of ongoing endeavors to rehabilitate the sanitation network infrastructure, which was severely damaged as a result of the Israeli war, worsening health and environmental problems in the city.
