CMWU Disinfects Water Well Water in All the Strip's Municipalities

CMWU, funded by Human Appeal UK, yesterday and over the course of two days, distributed chlorine solution and disinfection requirements to all water wells, pumping stations, and reservoirs in all 25 municipalities of the Gaza Strip, with this project considered one of the most important projects at the current time, particularly amid the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
CMWU affirms that it has been and continues to implement and follow up on all activities related to public health and disinfection for all water sources in the Strip, and at the current time is mobilizing all its capabilities with its crews and equipment and its communication with partner institutions in order to protect residents and help them confront the coronavirus pandemic.
In the same context, the chlorine solution distribution process was accompanied by comprehensive maintenance operations for the disinfection and chlorination units and supervision of the readiness of water facilities to operate within public health and safety standards and the recommendations of the World Health Organization on the matter.
