CMWU and Jabalia Municipality Begin Laying a Rainwater and Sewage Network in Qabaa Area and Tamraz Junction in Jabalia
Gaza / CMWU
CMWU, in cooperation with Jabalia Municipality, began laying a rainwater and sewage network in Qabaa area and Tamraz junction in Jabalia city, north of the Gaza Strip, as those areas continuously suffer from sewage overflow as a result of the deterioration of the old sewage network in them, particularly during the winter season, which leads to numerous health hazards harmful to residents.
This intervention comes as part of the continuous cooperation and joint work between CMWU and all the Gaza Strip's municipalities, aiming to improve and develop the water and sanitation system, with CMWU continuing to follow up on all the needs, requests, maintenance, and operation for the Gaza Strip's various municipalities, in order to continue providing services to residents, particularly amid the difficult circumstances the Gaza Strip is going through.
