CMWU Participates in a Meeting Organized by Al-Aqsa University

CMWU's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq participated in the meeting organized by Al-Aqsa University at its headquarters in Khan Younis governorate, with Minister Eng. Mazen Ghanem, Chairman of the Palestinian Water Authority, under the title "The Water Situation in Palestine and the Water Authority's Efforts to Achieve Palestinian Water Security", with Eng. Ghanem giving a comprehensive explanation of the water situation in Palestine, the challenges facing the National Authority in this sector, and the diligent attempts made by the Water Authority to achieve water security for our people, with Minister Ghanem reviewing during the meeting the most important achievements made by the Water Authority in the water and sanitation sectors and the success in stopping the deterioration occurring in these two fields.
In turn, CMWU's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq participated with an intervention in which he answered some inquiries from the audience about the most important steps taken to confront the challenges of the water situation in the southern governorates and the efforts made by the Water Authority in cooperation with CMWU to provide the best service to residents.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Shaibi, Governor of Khan Younis, Dr. Ayman Sobh, President of Al-Aqsa University, and a group of academics, notables, and mukhtars of the governorate, alongside university students.
