CMWU, funded by UNICEF, addressed a health hazard in the Al-Bassa area of Deir al-Balah near the Central Area desalination plant.
CMWU has addressed the problem of wastewater overflow near the seawater desalination plant in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The project includes the installation of 350 meters of sewage pipes and rainwater traps.
This intervention is funded by UNICEF.
The project aims to eliminate this problem that affects the environment and the health of the population, and to secure a safe route for the water tankers of CMWU.
