Coming Soon... Ending the Flooding Problem on Al-Quds Street, Al-Dakhiliya Area, in Jabalia City

#Details

CMWU, in partnership with Jabalia Municipality and funded by Action Against Hunger, will begin constructing a rainwater and sanitation network to avoid the flooding problem resulting from rainfall during the winter season on Al-Quds Street "Al-Dakhiliya area" (from Al-Jarn roundabout to Zammo roundabout) in Jabalia city, north of the Gaza Strip.

It is worth noting that this project comes as part of the emergency projects that Action Against Hunger responded to, and is the third project it has implemented in Jabalia city to reduce flooding during winter over the past two years.

The project has been announced, and it is currently in its initial stages, undergoing administrative procedures and engineering and consulting planning, with work expected to begin within the coming few months.

It is worth noting that the Al-Dakhiliya area in Jabalia city suffers from flooding during the winter season, as a result of heavy rains and some problems related to the area's topography, and this problem will end after the project's implementation.
