CMWU teams carried out maintenance works at Al-Safa Desalination Plant in Al-Maghazi Camp to maintain the plant’s efficiency and ensure the continuity of its operation in producing and supplying desalinated water to local residents.
The maintenance works included replacing several reverse osmosis membranes (RO membranes), as well as thoroughly washing and cleaning the plant’s components using the necessary chemicals. These works help maintain operational efficiency and improve the plant’s performance.
The plant produces approximately two cups of desalinated water per hour, contributing to water provision for the residents of Al-Maghazi Camp.
