Continuing construction works to expand the seawater desalination plant south of Gaza to raise its capacity to 20,000 m3 daily, funded by the European Union through UNICEF.

A glimpse of the continuing various construction works at the seawater desalination plant south of the Gaza Strip, which is being expanded, in order to increase its productivity and improve the quantity and quality of water provided to residents, as work is underway to expand it to reach a production capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per day, to become capable of serving residents in wide areas of Khan Younis and Rafah cities, numbering about 250,000 people, funded by the European Union through UNICEF, in cooperation with CMWU and the Palestinian Water Authority.
