CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, replaced the Al-Mashtal well pump in Khan Younis (60 cubic meters per hour) to feed Al-Mawasi neighborhood.
CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Khan Younis Municipality, managed to change the water pump at the Al-Mashtal well, at the Al-Aqsa University junction west of the city, replacing it with another pump to resume water pumping with a production capacity of (60) cubic meters per hour to feed Al-Mawasi neighborhood, particularly as the western area of Khan Younis is experiencing extremely high population density as a result of the intense waves of displacement the area is witnessing from all governorates of the Gaza Strip.
