Repairing damaged sanitation networks and transmission lines in several neighborhoods of Beit Lahia and Jabalia, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
CMWU, in cooperation with Beit Lahia and Jabalia municipalities and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, repaired the main sanitation networks and sanitation and rainwater transmission lines in several neighborhoods of Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, which sustained severe damage as a result of Israeli bombardment during the recent war, with the works including repairing the main lines in Al-Shaimaa neighborhood, Al-Salatin neighborhood, Al-Atatra neighborhood, and Qulaibou neighborhood, in addition to the transmission line to Abu Rashid rainwater pond and the pressure-breaker manhole in Beisan neighborhood, which serves most of the sewage pumping stations in North Gaza governorate.
The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, in cooperation with the Municipality of Beit Lahia and the Municipality of Jabalia, and with funding from the International Committee of the Red Cross, has repaired the main sewage networks, sewage and rainwater conveying lines in several neighborhoods of Beit Lahia city in the northern Gaza Strip, which were severely damaged as a result of the Israeli bombing during the war. The works included the repair of the main lines in the Shaimaa neighborhood, the Sultan neighborhood, the Al-Atatra neighborhood, and the Qalibo neighborhood, in addition to the line carrying Abu Rashid pond for rainwater, the pressure breaker manhole in Jabalia City, and the maintenance and rehabilitation of about 70 sewage manholes, which serve most of the sewage pumping stations in the North Governorate.
