CMWU carried out an emergency intervention to repair some sanitation networks in North Al-Buraq neighborhood in Khan Younis city, aiming to address the sewage overflow problem in those areas, particularly after they sustained destruction during the Israeli incursion into the governorate.
The water utility also reconnected the Al-Amal well to the distribution network to improve water service in the target areas, as the well serves residents in Al-Amal neighborhood and the Western Camp areas.
This intervention comes in field coordination with the Water Authority, funded by Oxfam in partnership with the Friends of the Environment Association and in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality.
