CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, repaired the main sanitation line on Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in Gaza after it was damaged by bombardment.
CMWU, in cooperation with Gaza Municipality, and in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross, carried out repair works on the main 18-inch sanitation line on Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in front of Al-Amal Hotel, which was damaged as a result of Israeli bombardment that recently targeted the area.
Despite the significant danger at the work site, the technical crews continue their efforts to repair the line and restore it to operation, to ensure the continuity of sanitation service and prevent sewage overflow, contributing to improving the environmental and health situation in the area.
These efforts are part of the ongoing endeavors of the water utility, Gaza Municipality, and international partners to maintain the continuity of essential services for residents despite the challenges and difficult conditions.
