Repairing the sewage transmission line on Al-Mars Street in Khan Younis after severe damage from direct Israeli bombardment.
Continuing work on repairing the sewage transmission line on Al-Mars Street, which sustained severe damage as a result of direct Israeli bombardment of it, negatively affecting the sanitation system, as this line connects the sewage station located in Al-Wafaa area to the section located in the Dahret Sheikh Mohammed area on Salah Al-Din Street.
CMWU and Khan Younis Municipality, through one of the local contracting companies that intervened urgently and in coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross, are working to maintain the line as quickly as possible to protect the residents of Khan Younis from the sewage water that flowed into the streets as a result of the destruction of the main line on Al-Mars Street.
The works include replacing 90 linear meters of the main pressure transmission line, in addition to repairing, re-implementing, and installing the street's sanitation network line, 60 meters long and 250mm in diameter, and repairing residents' household connections that were damaged by the bombardment.
