The Islamic University honors CMWU for its role in training Faculty of Engineering students as part of a World Bank-funded project.

CMWU's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq praised the outstanding performance of the Islamic University's Faculty of Engineering students during their practical training, as part of a series of activities of the "Preparing Faculty of Engineering Graduates to Keep Pace with Labor Market Needs in the Field of Energy and Smart Cities" project, funded by the World Bank through the Quality Improvement Fund at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

This came during a speech delivered by Eng. Shoblaq at the honoring ceremony organized by the Islamic University for the institutions and companies that trained Faculty of Engineering students as part of developing the field training program at the University's Faculty of Engineering, in the presence of Dr. Khalil Al-Astal, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdel Aati, Director of the Research and Projects Center, Dr. Sanaa Saleh, Head of the Architecture Department, Dr. Anwar Abu Dharifa, Head of the Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Mu'ayyad Al-Mabhouh, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, and Dr. Ayman Abu Samra, Head of the Computer Engineering Department.

At the end of his speech, Eng. Shoblaq thanked the Faculty of Engineering for the honoring ceremony and the University's keenness on strengthening relations with local community institutions, and at the end of the ceremony, certificates of thanks and appreciation were distributed to representatives of the companies and engineering offices.
