Beginning Implementation of a Sanitation Project in Musbah and Khirbet Al-Adas Areas in Rafah
Gaza – CMWU
CMWU, in partnership with the Palestinian Hydrology Group and funded by the Canadian government, began implementing a project to construct a sanitation network in parts of Musbah neighborhood and Khirbet Al-Adas in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, implemented by local contractor "Al-Iftitah General Contracting Company", with the project including constructing a main sanitation line in addition to household connections, and this project serves about 2,550 people.
It is worth noting that these areas rely on cesspits, which pose a danger to the environment and lead to health hazards.
