Beginning Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Maqboula Water Well in Al-Bureij

CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Bureij Municipality, began carrying out maintenance and rehabilitation on Maqboula water well east of Al-Bureij camp, central Gaza Strip, aiming to bring it back into operation particularly after it stopped as a result of malfunctions in it.

The works include supplying and installing a motor for the well's pump, in addition to fixing all the malfunctions in it, with this coming as part of the water wells maintenance project funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and this well serves about 4,000 people.

This project comes in the context of the projects through which CMWU seeks to continue and improve the water service provided to the residents of the Gaza Strip, by maintaining and rehabilitating water wells in various areas of the Gaza Strip, which leads to raising the efficiency of those wells.
