Rehabilitation Begins on the Al-Nuwairi Water Well in Bani Suheila
CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Bani Suheila Municipality, began repair and rehabilitation works on the Al-Nuwairi water well in Bani Suheila, Khan Younis Governorate, southern Gaza Strip, after the well was destroyed during recent military operations in the town, causing it to go completely out of service.
The works aim to fully repair and rehabilitate the well and restore it to service, to improve water services provided to residents and displaced persons in the town, as the well serves more than 8,000 people.
This intervention is a continuation of the water utility's ongoing efforts to repair water and sanitation facilities, to ensure services are provided to residents, particularly amid the continuing Israeli war.
