Repair Begins on the Main Sanitation Line in the North Entrance Area of Al-Maghazi Camp
CMWU began carrying out maintenance and repair works on the main sanitation line in the north entrance area of Al-Maghazi camp, central Gaza Strip, in coordination with the Water Authority, funded by Oxfam in partnership with the Friends of the Environment Association and in cooperation with Al-Maghazi Municipality, with implementation by local contractor Loder Contracting Company. This area sustained widespread destruction as a result of the Israeli ground operation on the camp, causing severe damage to infrastructure and forming a health hazard in it.
The works include repairing the main sanitation line with a diameter of 355mm and a length of about 300 linear meters, and this line serves about 25,000 people.
