Completion of Rehabilitating and Maintaining Al-Shawa Water Well in Al-Mashrou' Area in Beit Lahia City

Gaza – CMWU

CMWU, in cooperation with Beit Lahia Municipality, rehabilitated and maintained Al-Shawa water well in Al-Mashrou' area in Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, in order to raise its efficiency and improve the water service for residents in the areas benefiting from the well, as this well serves about 4,000 people.

This project's implementation comes as part of the emergency repair and maintenance program linked to combating the coronavirus, implemented by CMWU in cooperation with the German development organization GIZ, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
