Completion of Maintaining and Rehabilitating Sanitation Networks in Various Areas of Beit Lahia City
Gaza – CMWU
As part of the project to repair and maintain water and sanitation networks in various areas of Gaza city and Beit Lahia, CMWU, in partnership with Oxfam, carried out maintenance and rehabilitation works on sanitation networks in Al-Seifa and Subeih areas, in addition to Awad Street area in Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with Beit Lahia Municipality.
This project comes as part of Oxfam's emergency response plan for water and sanitation services for affected communities in the Gaza Strip.
It is worth noting that this project is funded by the Dutch Relief Alliance, implemented and overseen by CMWU in partnership with Oxfam.
This project also includes maintaining and rehabilitating the water network in several areas of Gaza city, including the Ammar bin Yasser area and around the Al-Jarjawi area near the Saraya intersection, in addition to rehabilitating the water network in the Intelligence Towers area, in addition to rehabilitating the sanitation network on Baghdad Street and Al-Yarmouk Street, which sustained severe damage during the recent war on the Gaza Strip.
