Completing Maintenance of "Al-Waldeen" Water Well in Khan Younis
CMWU, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality and funded by Human Appeal UK, completed maintenance of "Al-Waldeen" water well in Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip, with the maintenance process including replacing part of the well's worn-out pipes and maintaining the pump and its accessories, aiming to improve and increase the quantities of water produced from the well, as this well serves residents of Qizan Al-Najjar neighborhood and Al-Sikka area, after it was reconnected to the distribution network for the aforementioned areas.
This intervention comes as part of CMWU's efforts aimed at improving the water services provided to residents of the Gaza Strip, as CMWU had, during the past few days, in cooperation with the Strip's various municipalities, carried out a series of maintenance works affecting numerous wells in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
