CMWU concluded a workshop titled "Presenting the Results of the Performance Evaluation of the Gaza Seawater Desalination Plant," at the Utility's main headquarters located in Al-Zahra city.
The workshop was opened by Eng. Monther Shoblaq, CMWU's Director-General, explaining the strategic importance of the project, which would contribute to solving the crisis of water suitable for human use by desalinating seawater and supplying numerous neighborhoods of Gaza city with it, in the presence of representatives from the Palestinian Water Authority, Gaza Municipality, the project's consultant, the contractor, and representatives from CMWU.
In turn, Dr. Mazen Abu Al-Taif and Eng. Azzam Abu Habib, the project's consultants for evaluating the plant's performance, presented the plant's evaluation results, praising the plant's performance and the positive results shown by the study.
At the conclusion of the workshop, numerous proposals and recommendations were presented and discussed that would contribute to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of benefiting from the project.
