Announcement of a Sealed-Envelope Tender
CMWU announces a sealed-envelope tender for the sale of "used blue empty chlorine barrels with a capacity of 220 liters, which were used as chlorine containers", according to the general and special conditions attached in the tender booklet. Those wishing to bid should observe the following conditions:
- Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of the tender booklet should go to the Tenders and Procurement Department at CMWU, against payment of a non-refundable amount of 50 shekels (fifty shekels), starting from Sunday, 10/05/2020, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Utility's headquarters.
- The bidder must submit a bid bond (bid entry bond) at a rate of 10% of the offered price, either in cash, a bank guarantee, or a bank check (non-personal), valid for no less than 90 days from the tender submission date, and the winner's bid bond will not be refunded if they withdraw from the bid.
- Prices must remain valid for no less than 60 days from the tender submission date, and prices must not include tax (the Utility does not issue a tax invoice).
- Tuesday, 12/05/2020, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, has been designated for inspecting the sample at CMWU's main warehouse in Khan Younis city, next to Al-Aqsa University, regarding the barrels to be sold by CMWU.
- The deadline for submitting the tender booklet is 1:00 PM on Thursday, 14/05/2020, noting that no bid will be accepted after this date, and offers will not be accepted by fax but must be submitted in a sealed envelope and handed to the reception employee at the Utility's headquarters.
- The envelopes will be opened in the presence of whoever among the bidders wishes to attend, on the tender submission day, Thursday, 14/05/2020, at 1:00 PM.
- The Utility reserves the right to cancel or reissue the tender without bearing any liability towards the tender's participants.
