Job Announcement (Sludge Lines and Dewatering Operator)

Position: Sludge Lines and Dewatering Operator (3 positions).
Workplace: Treatment Plant East of Al-Bureij.
Working hours: Shift-based work around the clock.

Main Job Duties:

1. Operating sludge and gas production lines and their equipment according to the operation and maintenance manuals.
2. Operating the dewatering plant's belt presses, diluting and using polymers, and monitoring digested thickened sludge and dried sludge and their equipment, according to the operation and maintenance manuals.
3. Operating, monitoring, and keeping records of gas production and operating compressed natural gas.
4. Reading meters and understanding their meaning.
5. Identifying operational errors and making the necessary adjustments in coordination with the direct manager or operations engineer.
6. Ensuring correct and continuous operation, carrying out periodic monitoring work, and recording data in logs, charts, and biological status records.
7. Handling emergencies.
8. Monitoring the disposal of sludge and grit and recording data in the logs.
9. Maintaining operation records.
10. Submitting reports as requested by the direct manager.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Mechanics, with preference given to holders of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. No less than three years of experience in operating sewage lines.
3. Ability to write and converse in English at an intermediate level.
4. Ability to use MS Office programs at an intermediate level.
