Job Announcement (Electrical Technical Assistant)

Position: Electrical Technical Assistant (3 positions).
Workplace: Treatment Plant East of Al-Bureij.

Main Job Duties:

1. Assisting in operating all electrical equipment at the station.
2. Assisting in periodic maintenance and repair works, including but not limited to electric motors, electrical equipment and devices, panels, PLCs, etc., under the supervision of the direct manager, according to the manufacturer's/supplier's manual and the operation and maintenance manuals.
3. Assisting in diagnosing electrical problems and malfunctions.
4. Assisting in inspecting, disassembling, repairing, and installing spare parts using the appropriate equipment and tools.
5. Assisting in corrective maintenance works and routine diagnosis of electrical parts, devices, and equipment.
6. Assisting in preventive maintenance works such as inspecting, calibrating, and cleaning electrical equipment and devices.
7. Assisting in maintaining and diagnosing faults in basic electrical systems.
8. Filling out operation and maintenance cards for each piece of equipment, and evaluating and recording observations and works whenever needed.
9. Maintaining tools and equipment and verifying the workplace's cleanliness after finishing work.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Electricity.
2. No less than two years of experience in electrical maintenance work.
3. Knowledge of electrical panels, PLCs, electrical devices and motors, and other electrical equipment used at the station.
4. Ability to write and converse in English at an intermediate level preferred.
5. Ability to use MS Office programs at an intermediate level preferred.
