CompletedRehabilitation and Maintenance Project for Three Wastewater Networks in Various Areas of Khan Younis City
The project included the rehabilitation and maintenance of three wastewater networks in Al-Manshiya, Al-Kusaikha, and Abu Shamlah areas of Khan Younis Governorate. The works aim to enhance the networks’ capacity to collect and convey wastewater from the served residential areas, to the maximum extent possible under the current conditions, while reducing wastewater overflows and associated public health hazards.
CompletedCleaning and Rehabilitation Project for the Sheikh Ajleen Wastewater Treatment Plant in Gaza City
The works were carried out as a preliminary step toward restoring the plant’s operation. They included removing accumulated sediment, sludge, and sand from treatment ponds and channels, pumping stagnant water, clearing vegetation and debris, and transporting waste to environmentally approved disposal sites. The works also included repairing concrete ponds, addressing cracks and damage, and servicing and lubricating control gates to ensure their readiness for operation.

Construction of a Wastewater Network in the European Neighborhood, Al-Fukhari The project includes the installation of 3.5 km of wastewater networks and 300 household connections in the European Neighborhood, Al-Fukhari, east of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip. It is implemented in cooperation with PWA and Al-Fukhari Municipality, and funded by KFAED through the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).
